We’re excited to work with you!
Before we get started, please review these terms and conditions. By requesting designs and/or services from Caz Grafix CC, you agree to these terms, which form a binding contract requiring payment.
General Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to all contracts between clients and Caz Grafix for services related to design, printing, copywriting, visual media, brand identity, illustrations, images, and photography (artwork).
Revision Policy
We want you to love your designs.
We do not charge extra for reasonable revisions that stay within the original design brief and are requested within the agreed timeline. If your requests go beyond the original brief (for example, a change in direction or adding new elements not originally discussed), this will be billed at R650 per hour, charged in 15-minute increments. All prices exclude VAT. Any additional expenses (such as special stock, paid fonts, or photography) will be charged separately.
If you’re ever unsure whether a change is within the original brief, just ask, and we’ll clarify before continuing.
Quotation and Payment
Our quotations are based on your design brief and the expected time needed to complete the work.
Quotes may change if the scope of work changes or extra work is requested. Time estimates are given in business days and are guidelines, not guaranteed delivery dates, although we do our best to meet your deadlines. We may request a deposit before starting work. By paying this deposit, you accept these terms and enter into a contract with Caz Grafix. If no deposit is requested, your request for services will be deemed acceptance of these terms.
Invoicing & timing
We’ll invoice the remaining balance before we proceed with posting, printing, or final delivery. Work will only continue once full payment has been received. If we’re unable to reach you for more than 30 days, we reserve the right to invoice for the work completed up to that point. Projects that run longer than 60 days may incur additional charges, depending on the time and resources involved.
Payment terms & cancellation
All invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date. If you decide to cancel a project, you will be invoiced for all work completed up to the cancellation date, minus any deposit already paid. If we send concept artwork and do not hear back from you within 30 days, we may consider the project complete and invoice accordingly. In cases of non-payment, we reserve the right to pursue legal action to recover outstanding amounts.
Client Responsibilities
We want everything to go smoothly and look exactly how you expect.
You are responsible for carefully checking and approving all artwork proofs, including: Design and layout, spelling and grammar, Illustrations and images, quantities, sizes, and any other details. The final approved proof is what will be used for printing and/or web development. Once you’ve approved it, Caz Grafix cannot be held responsible for any errors, and reprints will be at your cost.
Copyright & Usage
You are responsible for ensuring that all material you supply (such as logos, images, fonts, or text) complies with copyright laws and that you have permission to use it.
Caz Grafix retains copyright in all concepts, draft artwork, and designs until full payment is received. After payment, your usage rights will be as agreed for that specific project.
Liability and Force Majeure
We take pride in our work and aim to deliver a professional, reliable service. However, Caz Grafix cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, or claims arising from the use of our services, designs, or materials. You make use of all information and materials at your own discretion and risk.
We will not be liable for delays or any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) war, strikes, labour disputes, government restrictions, power failures, or other unexpected events (force majeure).
If you have any questions about these terms, please reach out before we begin. We’re always happy to clarify anything so we can start your project with clear expectations for both parties.
